This textile artwork explores the subtle reliefs of the silent and tranquil Provençal landscape through the material of naturally dyed linen.
For this painting, a mixture of collage techniques and linen marquetry, Cécile extracted the natural color from plants of the autumn garrigue, notably holm oak acorns, immortelle, with reaction with rust.
In this series, the gentle curves evoke the hills asleep under the autumn light, in a calm and deeply sensitive atmosphere.
Plant dyeing creates unique variations: each piece has its own vibration, marked by the plants and the season.
