Autumn Table 1 is a framed painting measuring 30x40 cm, the first in an exclusive series for Mirette on autumn still lifes.
In this intimate composition, the silhouettes of a bottle, a pitcher and a cup emerge in flat areas of naturally dyed linen.
The palette, made up of ochres, deep browns and a velvety black, evokes the autumnal warmth of the dye plants of Provence. The deliberately refined forms seem to float in a silent atmosphere, as if suspended outside of time.
Linen, with its irregular fibers, lends a subtle vibration that gives the still life a tactile depth and an almost sculptural presence. This work embodies the meditative simplicity of a frozen moment, where objects become fragments of chromatic memory.
