Tell us your story, how did your vocation come to you?
I was trained by internationally renowned painters, then I continued with university training in art history and archaeology at the Sorbonne, until I obtained a doctorate.
How would you describe your style, your artistic approach, in a few words?
I am searching for the rules of universal aesthetics in accumulations, first in superimpositions, now in the rhythms of stratifications.
What themes or subjects inspire you most in your work?
As a theorist of abstract art, I love circles, the quintessential, timeless form, and the color green for its softness and the serenity that emanates from it.
How do you work?
I work in my cozy studio, to the sound of rock music, sometimes with a glass of white wine on the workbench. I love painting on linen canvas and paper.
Do you have a particular technique, a specific expertise? Without revealing all your secrets, have you developed your own methods and techniques?
I have a perfect command of epoxy resin on canvas and oil painting.
Tell us about your daily life, your constraints, your joys, your successes…
I start every day with a coffee in hand, a bowl of cereal on the counter, and a few pages of an art book. I'm as curious as I am a foodie, a true epicurean!
Do you have a message you'd like to share, or anything else you'd like to say?
Abstract art is to art what scientific reasoning is to science; it is the science of art!
