Description

Original sculpture - French craftsmanship

The intimate memory of the tree

Material

Black locust. Hard, resilient wood, long exposed.

Slow growth, accumulated resistance.

The pattern is not decorative. It is the consequence.

Each line carries a season, a constraint, a recovery.

The dark spot does not break the whole: it is its visible origin.

Gesture

Turned from the solid block. Opened without imposed constraint.

The gesture accompanies what is already there.

It does not correct. It reveals.

Sanding.

Polishing.

Buffing.

Carnauba wax.

Nothing is added.

Nothing is masked.

Use

Tableware.

To hold: Dry objects. Fragments. Traces.

Or nothing.

Do not fill.

Let it act.

⸻

Robinier Constellation

These pieces are sourced from the same black locust trunk.

Each section invites a different reading,

not through formal variation, but by shifting the gaze.

Some forms are assertive. Others hold back.

Anamnesis belongs to those that do not decide.

Atelier H
