ETNA Large vase in porcelain and manganese slip stoneware
Large unique vase, in stoneware, mounted with coil and fired at high temperature (1240°). The decorations are made with a white porcelain slip and a manganese slip. The room is asymmetrical, the different decorations follow one another all around the body and each view is unique. The porcelain slip has a dense, opaque whiteness, with fine grain, while the manganese slip, in contrast, has a very strong texture, with an appearance close to lava. This piece is unique. It weighs 5 kg and has a diameter of 35 cm and a height of 30 cm.
