Description

Original sculpture - French craftsmanship

A form born from tension Created from a natural piece of plane mulberry wood, this piece was turned and then left to itself.

The opposing walls have deformed, drawn closer, and opened up.

⸻

The tension comes from the wood itself. What seems fragile still holds together. The form sustains itself in this precise moment: between preservation and rupture.

⸻

A silent presence Placed alone, it captures the gaze with precision. It works particularly well: on a minimalist console, in a wall niche, in contrast with smooth surfaces. The light gradually reveals its tensions. The eye returns to it.

⸻

Why this piece works Unique piece, non-reproducible Natural deformation linked to the wood's drying Form preserved as it appeared Balance between mastery of turning and surrender to the material

It retains an inner tension.

Atelier H
