Unique piece
Aged catalpa wood vase (also called bean trees, named after its black pods which contain the seeds).
The bark is preserved on the edges and natural gaps which gives the piece a rustic and old appearance. This is how time has done its work. The grain of this wood is exceptional.
The original piece is taken at the very top of the main trunk at the birth of the first branches. A hard oil finish protects the piece against possible fingerprints.
