Vase on reversing feet. You choose its position yourself, it will be stable on one foot or the other.
Turning this green fig vase requires a little challenge to hold it in place on the wood lathe. The two ends were hollowed out while maintaining a very thin and constant thickness of the walls to achieve luminous transparency through the wood fibers.
The conservation of the green bark also raised some concerns during filming.
The pith in the heart of the branch remained visible and testifies to the natural origin of the wood.
The piece is now dry and the bleached finish gives it great looks.
