Sculpture "the Angelus of M.Millet"

This 3-dimensional evocation of the very famous painting by Jean-François Millet, the Angelus, is essentially made of horseshoe nails and steel wires straightened and formed by hand then arc-welded.
The contents of the wheelbarrow are made up of nuts, while those of the basket and the skirt of the orante are for their part made of raffia.
The technique of representation, without harming the fidelity of the evocation, gives it a sobriety which favors its harmonious integration into any interior.
