Unique piece.
This composition inspired by a plant shape is in fact a “seed box”.
Hollow on the inside then sculpted on the outside, it is then coated with burnt black acrylic paint to obtain a globular texture imitating the skin of a fruit.
The following images show the open box and the inside of the hollow shape.
The body and lid of the box are made of ash.
The opening of the box is hidden right in the center of the seed. “a little riddle to suggest to your guests!! »
The peduncle of the seed symbolizing the promise of a flower is made up of a long floret in textured sculpted ash then bent with steam.
The whole thing can be displayed and placed in different ways. Here “Flower Promise” is presented on a heated fig wood base with a linseed oil finish.
the base shown in the photos is delivered with the piece.
Caution fragile area:
The finial does not come off. It is glued to the top of the box.
An original creation which will easily find its place in the window of a living room unit or on the shelf of your fireplace.
