This original creation represents a CrossFit workout (WOD). It is made from straightened steel wire and horseshoe nails, hand-formed in my small workshop in Toulon, and arc-welded.
The extreme originality of the subject and its treatment, as well as the mastery of welding required for such a method of assembly on such small components, are enough to make this creation extremely rare.
Based on the analysis of photos, the technique implemented made it possible to work on the accuracy of the poses as well as the beauty of the curves described by the undulating strings.
The manufacturing process requires approximately 10 hours of work, a significant portion of which involves the meticulous study of the action on screen.
Protected with jade oil, a traditional woodworking product, this piece beautifully catches the light, and its understated finish allows it to blend seamlessly with any décor, whether at home or in the office. It makes the perfect gift for any enthusiast of this craft.
