Fig wood vat bowl, turned while still green and heated on natural edge.
The exterior surface is textured and brushed, ebonized at the feet to give a rough and rustic appearance to the piece.
The support base is deliberately reduced as much as possible in order to give maximum elegance to the curve of the bowl. The balance is reduced accordingly, which will allow you to choose the orientation of the object as you wish (more or less standing or lying down).
Thin wall 3 mm thick
As soon as the turning is finished, the wood deforms and offers its own natural curves.
The piece then takes its final shape as it dries.
Natural hard oil finish.
