Raku ceramic box - Handcrafted

Immerse yourself in the poetic world of raku with this ceramic box, its shape inspired by overlapping bubbles representing infinity. Its crackled white glaze contrasts with the matte depth of the domed black lid. Each unique, handcrafted box reveals the singular beauty born from the artisan's touch and the alchemy of fire. >
**Manufacturing:**
- Thrown on a potter's wheel in a special raku clay.
- First baking in an electric oven.
- Brush enameling.
- Second firing outdoors, in my gas kiln dedicated to Raku, removed from the kiln at 980°C.
- Smoking in wood shavings to reveal cracks in the glaze.
- Final cleaning of the soot to reveal the work of the fire.
- Each piece is unique.
**Materials used:**
- High-quality special raku clay
- Lead-free glazes specially chosen for raku.
**Delivery:**
- Delivered carefully packaged to ensure its safety during transport.
- Packaging is mostly eco-friendly, most often made with recycled cardboard, newspaper and bubble wrap is mainly made from recycled packaging.
- Fast shipping via Colissimo from my workshop in Hossegor.

Precautions for optimal use:
- Because raku is porous, I advise against using this box for food. If you still wish to store food, keep it in a plastic bag, then place the bag directly into the box.
