Comprising seven unique, handmade decorations fired using the ancient raku technique, these star and snowflake-shaped ornaments will bring a touch of originality and magic to your home during the festive season.
**Manufacturing:**
- Shaping in a slab of special raku clay.
- First baking in an electric oven.
- Brush enameling.
- Second firing outdoors, in my gas kiln dedicated to Raku, removed from the kiln at 980°C.
- Smoking in wood shavings to reveal cracks in the glaze.
- Final cleaning of the soot to reveal the work of the fire.
- Each piece is unique.
**Materials used:**
- High-quality special raku clay
- Lead-free glazes specially chosen for raku.
- Red cotton thread.
**Delivery:**
- Delivered carefully packaged to ensure its safety during transport.
- Packaging is mostly eco-friendly, most often made with recycled cardboard, newspaper and bubble wrap is mainly made from recycled packaging.
- Fast shipping via Colissimo from my workshop in Hossegor.
