Common catalpa lampshade.
This handmade lampshade is turned on a traditional wood lathe. It is made up of two pieces from the same tree which fit together to increase the height of the whole.
This technique allows the use of thinner raw pieces of wood.
The photos show that a large woodworm came and left its mark (visible in the penultimate photo). Often when filming with green wood, you have to deal with the nature of the wood and its hosts.
Natural hard oil and beeswax finish.
Suitable for E27 sockets.
