Very pretty little decorative cup with wing in Yew wood.
Turned in the mass then textured with a sandblaster. A fine undulation appears, bringing out the superb grain of the Yew wood and a subtle gradient of cream, purple and golden amber colors. The edges of the fin are preserved raw sawn with sometimes a strip of bark. The entire surface is preserved in its natural appearance. However, a simple matte finish is applied at the end of the work to protect it from dust and possible fingerprints.
