Ceramic bud vase - handcrafted

For a modern yet timeless elegance, choose this white glazed Raku ceramic bud vase. Lovingly crafted in my Hossegor workshop, each bud vase captures the essence of Japanese tradition and celebrates the beauty of Raku's characteristic imperfection. The unique, randomly created crackles make each piece exceptional.
**Manufacturing:**
- Thrown on a potter's wheel in a special raku clay.
- First baking in an electric oven.
- Brush enameling.
- Second firing outdoors, in my gas kiln dedicated to Raku, removed from the kiln at 980°C.
- Smoking in wood shavings to reveal cracks in the glaze.
- Final cleaning of the soot to reveal the work of the fire.
- Each piece is unique.
**Materials used:**
- High-quality special raku clay
- Lead-free glazes specially chosen for raku.
**Delivery:**
- Delivered carefully packaged to ensure its safety during transport.
- Packaging is mostly eco-friendly, most often made with recycled cardboard, newspaper and bubble wrap is mainly made from recycled packaging.
- Fast shipping via Colissimo from my workshop in Hossegor.

Precautions for optimal use:
- Since raku is porous, I treated the inside to waterproof the piece. However, I advise against placing this vase directly on a piece of furniture made of precious wood, as traces of moisture may appear if the vase is filled with water for too long.
