I superimposed a vivid drawing in black ink and ballpoint pen, capturing the features of a face in profile, onto a background created by collaging old texts and watercolor washes. The paper is thus imbued with whispered stories. The dominant verdigris and sepia tones evoke a gentle melancholy, contrasting with bursts of vibrant orange that inject a touch of passion and life, like a sudden and intense memory.

It is a work that combines the fragility of paper with the powerful character of the gaze.
